Struthers Varsity vs Niles McKinley High School (3 - 1) Win 25-14, 25-15, 23-25, 25-15. After two strong opening sets, the Wildcats battled through injury and lineup changes dropping the third set but bouncing back to take the fourth in dominant fashion. Senior Emily McDowell led the charge from the service line rattling off 7 aces, racking up 4 kills, and contributing 15 assists. Fellow senior Gianna Martin led the charge offensively with 13 kills, contributing also from the service line with 4 aces, and defensively leading the Wildcats with 10 digs. Liberos Trynyty Nail and Elliana Benson contributed 8 and 7 digs respectively, with Benson also racking up 5 aces. The JV Wildcats also beat the Dragons 2-0. 25-18, 25-16.
