Hall Named Conference MVP

Sophomore Aiden Hall was named conference MVP at the inaugural Northeast 8 Track and Field championships held in Lakeview on Tuesday. Hall won the 100M, 200M, and 400M to score a total of 30 points for the Wildcats. Also being named first-team all-conference for a first place finish was the Boy’s 4×400 team of ZyQuan

All Sport Physicals

Dr. Black, from Poland Medical, will be offering FREE physicals for any athlete interested on MAY 15th immediately after school in the fieldhouse. They are offered on a first come, first served basis. They will be good for the entire 19-20 school year.  Make sure you are signed up on FINAL FORMS 1st!!

8th Grade Girls Basketball Announcement

There will be a meeting on Monday May 6th in MS Room 110 from 1:05-1:25 for any current 8th grade girls interested in playing Basketball this up coming season.

There will be a meeting on Friday May 3rd in MS Room 110 from 3-3:20 for any current 6th grade or 7th grade girls interested in playing basketball this up coming season.

Tennis team “rains” in a win

The boys tennis team came away from Lordstown with a rain soaked victory. Leading the charge was Senior Brett Novits and Joe Carbon. Sam Horton won his match 6-1, 6-2, Colin Tarr won his match 6-1, 6-1. Also collecting wins were the doubles team of Joe Carbon and Sean Swiger as well as Larry DeMarco

Boys Track Sweeps Relays

Novits and Carbon get doubles win

Brett Novits and Joe Carbon picked up a doubles win in Tuesdays loss to Howland. The duo was down one set to zero when they started their come from behind victory. The final result was 4-6, 6-4, 13-11. Overall the team lost 1-4 and are now entering the final quarter of the season.


Both the Boys and Girls runners are selling Handel’s Pint Cards for $4.50 each this spring to fundraise.  See one of the team members, or contact Coach Hausch, to purchase pint cards to support the Cross Country program.

Seniors Sign Letters of Intent

Two senior ladies signed letters of intent to continue their sports careers this coming fall. We recognized Trinity McDowell as she signed with Cincinnati Christian University for basketball and Delaney Baber as she signed with Ohio Northern University for golf. Congratulations ladies!
