2019 WINTER NorthEast 8 Conference Selections

Special congratulations go out to our NE8 All Conference selections: Boys Bowling– FIRST TEAM- Jared Medvec Girls Bowling– SECOND TEAM- Liz Dragus and Madison Stanton Girls Basketball– FIRST TEAM- Trinity McDowell   SECOND TEAM- Emma Elia *Trinity also made second team NE District ALL INLAND and Emma made third team NE District ALL INLAND Boys Basketball– SECOND

Madison Stanton Named Bowling State Champion

Struthers sophomore, Madison Stanton was named the OHSAA Division II 2019 Girls Bowling State Champion with a 634 set. Senior, Liz Dragus was also selected as Honorable Mention All State. The Struthers Girls Bowling Team finished 9th in the state competition held March 1st in Columbus. Madison is pictured with Coach Bob Eisenbraun, Sr.

A mandatory meeting for all SPRING SPORT participants (grades 7-12) and their parents will be held on March 7th at SMS at 6:30 PM.  OHSAA and district information will be reviewed and breakout meetings with coaches will be held.  Mark your calendars!


Congratulations to our girls bowling team who advanced to State competition.  They qualified in 4th place at today’s District competition at Buckeye Lanes in Cleveland. State competition is in Columbus on March 1. Individual qualifier to state is Madison Stanton who placed 3rd overall.  Way to go ladies!  

Sabrina Bartholomew Receives Scholarship

Senior Sabrina Bartholomew was honored as the recipient of the Mahoning Valley Basketball Officials’ Association Jollis Welcher Scholarship.

JD Hall Signs Letter of Intent

JD Hall signed a letter of intent with Westminster College to continue his football career in the fall.

8th Grade Girls NE8 Champions

The Struthers Middle School 8th grade girls basketball team beat South Range 34-30 in the League Championship game. The game was held at Struthers Middle School on February 13th.
