SPRING SPORTS OHSAA MEETING

A mandatory meeting for all SPRING SPORT participants (grades 7-12) and their parents will be held on March 7th at SMS at 6:30 PM.  OHSAA and district information will be reviewed and breakout meetings with coaches will be held.  Mark your calendars!

GIRLS BOWLING to STATE!

Congratulations to our girls bowling team who advanced to State competition.  They qualified in 4th place at today’s District competition at Buckeye Lanes in Cleveland. State competition is in Columbus on March 1. Individual qualifier to state is Madison Stanton who placed 3rd overall.  Way to go ladies!  

Sabrina Bartholomew Receives Scholarship

Senior Sabrina Bartholomew was honored as the recipient of the Mahoning Valley Basketball Officials’ Association Jollis Welcher Scholarship.

JD Hall Signs Letter of Intent

JD Hall signed a letter of intent with Westminster College to continue his football career in the fall.

8th Grade Girls NE8 Champions

The Struthers Middle School 8th grade girls basketball team beat South Range 34-30 in the League Championship game. The game was held at Struthers Middle School on February 13th.  

Boys Sectional Basketball Game

Our boys varsity basketball team will be competing in sectional tournament play at Cardinal Mooney High School on Tuesday, February 26th at 7:00pm.  Tickets are $6 for Adults and $4 for Students.  Only OHSAA passes are accepted.  Come out and support your WILDCATS!

Girls Sectional Basketball Game

Struthers Lady Cats will be hosting the Lakeview Lady Bulldogs in the first round of the OHSAA basketball tournament.  This sectional game will take place on Saturday, February 16th at 1:00 at the Struthers Fieldhouse.  Tickets are $6 for adults and $4 for student.  Only OHSAA passes are accepted.

BOWLING TEAMS ADVANCE TO DISTRICTS

The Division II Bowling Sectionals were held Sunday at Freeway Lanes in Warren.  Our Lady Cats came out on top taking the number one seed advancing to Districts this coming weekend at Buckeye Lanes in Cleveland.  Receiving highest honors as top finisher on the girls’ side was senior Wildcat, Delaney Baber.   The Struthers boys’ team respectively
