The Wildcat bowling squads hosted the Austintown Fitch Falcons on Friday 1/8 at Holiday Bowl.
The Wildcat JV (2-3, 1-0) fell at the hands of the Falcon JV squad in a 1875-1790 final pincount. Game1 tallied a 774 total, and a 101 pin lead. Will Morris led the Cats JV with a personal best 244. Christian Miner rolled a 164, followed by Colin Tarr’s 137. Robert Jones added a 122, and Ayden Grossman notched a 107. In game2, the tables turned as the Cats JV found themselves in a 62 pin deficit going into bakers, as they managed a 627 team game. Will Morris again paced the Cats with his 170. Christian Miner rolled a 147, with Colin Tarr rolling to a 129. Robert Jones threw a 108, and Ayden Grossman a 73. The JV baker set of 389 fell short of the set tossed by the Falcons (412), and clinched the Falcon victory by 65 pins.
Next up for the Wildcat bowing squads, the tournament team will venture Garrettsville, Ohio and Sky Lanes to participate in the G-Men Tournament. Their next match will feature a NE8 clash with the Girard Indians next Friday 1/15/21.
